Dear Loyal Fans,
We regret to inform you today that our bassist, Mike Glita, has decided to part ways with the band. There are no hard feelings involved with his decision; Mike simply wants to move on and pursue personal ventures and feats he has put on hold for the last 5 years. We all had a good talk about it and wish him nothing but the best.
Something Mike would like to say to the fans: "Thanks to everyone who supported the band and me through 'thick and thin' over the past 5 ½ years. You'll be missed greatly."
As for the four of us (Buddy, Dan, Garrett, Heath), we will continue Senses Fail and see you all next year on tour. We began the writing process last week for our follow up to Still Searching and will keep everyone up to date with videos, photos and blogs!

So, I realized that Senses Fail is falling apart, which really sucks. They're like my favorte band. Please don't lose anyone else!
no offense to the other members of Senses Fail(u guys are awesome and Buddy's mad hot) but Mike was my favorite band member this is all really sad especially after my boyfriend's favorite, Dave, was kicked out. i'm just wondering, who's gonna play bass at the bamboozle????? i know they'll still be unbelievable but i'm really sad.

Honestly, you guys are the BEST band that is out there, I just recently found you guys just over a year ago and I have ever since been a loyal fan. [i even searched all over New york looking for 'From the Depths of Dreams', because you can only receive it in the states. when I found it it was on repeat in my CD player for weeks! i completely support the decision that you have all made. And I wish you luck in the future, Mike you will dearly be missed though. Best of luck with your future plans.
Senses Fail is the greatest band in the whole world, i have been a fan for the past 3 1/2 years when i first seen them live in Michigan and the cobo center for the Taste Of Chaos tour.. Mike will be missed greatly by me and im sure there are many other ppl that say that too. but senses fail is the reason that i started playing bass myself.. all i can say s that senses fail will always be the best band on my list but mike will be missed like i said before =[

Again Mike is good but I would've been a lot more concerned if Heath or Garret left. The guitarists are the guys who drive the creative process. As long as their around you'll always have sick songs. You can't write a song on a bass guitar. And we have seen a pattern of this. Let's not forget that he did leave Tokyo Rose in the first place to join Senses Fail. Whatever, I'm sure he'll be happy with that new band of his.
Don't worry Mike is still making music. Check out his latest song (Love Like Robots) with Knights In Paris on My Space. I think Mike already has a hit on his hands with this song.

actually, if you can't hear his voice off-key live then i really suggest you check your hearing. i love the band but if you can't admit his voice is no better than a screaming cat live, then the amazing music must be drowning out his sound.

Okay, even if buddy's voice is out of key on his live shows, his voice is one of the reasons I love the band, He sounds kind of like the guy from saves the day in their earlier stuff, so I think Buddy kicks ass. When he sings you can really feel the emotion, and it doesnt feel forced.

Not going to argue. Lets just say I am in the recording industry and know some things and leave it at that. No one is knocking Senses Fail here as a band. Most of you can comprehend what I said, If you go back to reread I said that Senses Fail sounds great on their Studio Recordings. Thats a good thing but my observation of Senses Fail live has concerned me over time of Buddy's live voice. He sings ouf of key. Everyone who is in the know can see this will keep the band at a standstill. Not Good.

Hey Shiz for Brains. Senses Fail has had a problem with Buddy's singing for quite a long time. You have to have Shiz for Brains not to notice. Buddy can not sing live get it through your head. This has held the band back. Go on the web and listen all you want to live recordings going all the way back to the band being on Conan O'Briens show. Buddy sings out of key. He sucks live. When you suck live trust me it hurts the band and it has hurt Senses Fail. You know nothing.
Wow, Rick get your head out of your ass. Mike was a great guy and bassist but come on....it's just the bassist...he's the most disposable guy in the band. He probably brings nothing to the creative writing process. He just plays simple bass lines. Buddy's singing defines the sound of the band. If I had to pick anyone to go it probably would've been Mike...Senses Fail probably works better as a quartet anyway...it'll be a sweet new image
