So we've been in the studio about 3 weeks now and it's been going great. The juices have been flowing and we've been moving right along. Right now the drums and bass are done. I'm pretty excited with how both of them turned out. This past week the other guys have been doing a bunch of guitars and we got a bunch of songs done there too. What's also different for us this time is that Buddy has been doing vocals already instead of waiting till the end (which anyone who is a singer knows it sucks to do vocals for 15 songs day after day). We've been taking the guitars and vocals in batches of songs...do a couple songs on guitar..then a couple of songs on vocals...and i think it's a great idea since it gives Buddy a break between songs..and time to make sure the guitars and vocals are sweet. I really can't wait to hear the finished product..and i'm sure you guys can't either...it's been a couple years now since we recorded a new record. So we're looking to finish up pretty much right before warped tour..and then we'll send the record off to the awesome Chris Lorde-Alge to make the record sound even more huge than it already is sounding. We're hoping for a Mid September release at this point, if any of you were wondering, but we'll let you guys know the second we have an actual date. As of now the record is still untitled..but i think Buddy is getting pretty close to something.
