So, yesterday we played Bamboozle and i haven't had that much fun playing a show in a long time. The combination of not playing for 3 months, seeing all my friends and being able to let myself go onstage, like i haven't for awhile made it an amazing experience. I wanna thank everyone that watched our set, it was so amazing to see all you guys out there singing along. It reminded me why i love playing music soooo much and why I love NJ.

I was really nervous before we played because we haven't for 3 months, which is the longest break we have taken since we have been a band. I was scared i was gonna get up there and totally forget what i was doing. I also ate a hot dog an hour before we played and that is never a good idea. But everyone said i sang pretty good, so i might start always eating hotdogs before we play. The set went awesome once i got over the nerves. We had Randy Van Stone introduce our set, you may remember him from such movies as Scary Movie 1 and the fox sitcom Free Ride. Some people seem to think Macho Man introduced us but that is not true. I can only dream that the Macho Man Randy Savage would ever introduce Senses Fail. Once again i had such a great time yesterday. I got to see so many of my friends, that i haven't seen in at least a year. It's crazy that so many of the bands that played on Sunday are going be doing warped tour like Moneen, Emmanuel, The Bled, Everytime I Die, Saves The Day, FATA, Underoath, Say Anything, it should make for an amazing summer. I slept at home last night and i just got back to the studio. Dan started tracking drums today and has 4 songs down already, by the end of the week we should be done with drums and bass. Then next week we will start guitars and vocals. Everything has been awesome so far, we are very excitied about this new record and cannot wait for all of you to hear it.
