So we're on our 4th day at the studio..and things seem to be shaping up really well so far. We've been just going through all of the songs and weeding out what songs we think are great and what songs need some work and trying to spice everything up a bit. We also ended up jamming late the past 2 nights and came up with another 2 new songs that we're all pretty stoked on. At this point we have done rough demos for pretty much every song we have and it's getting easier to tell how this record will hopefully shape up and i'm really excited to hear it. We will probably start tracking drums in the next couple of days..and then hopefully speed along from there. Brian Mcternan has been awesome in the studio too, we clicked with him really well and really quickly and he puts off a great vibe that has given us all like a second wind to approaching the songs we have and writing new songs. He also gets some sick ass drum tones..and i think they will sound sweet when dan starts tracking. We've been taking a bunch of photos and doing some video on our own so far, and should have some pics and videos up on our website and myspace today or tomorrow hopefully. Also the video crew will start coming this week and be doing a more "pro" documentation of the recording for hopefully some video updates and a "making of" the album. I'm also excited to play bamboozle festival sunday being that we haven't played a show or gone on tour for like 4 months.
